I am using this mouse on a Apple MacBook Pro MC374LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop and it is a great improvement over a conventional corded optical mouse. The main improved aspects are the ergonomic design, and high torque scrolling wheel that lets you scroll through documents and web pages smooth at a lightening fast pace. The nice thing is the scroll wheel allows you to scroll side-to-side - by pushing the scroll wheel left or right after installing the driver software on your PC or Mac.
On a Mac, pressing the control button on the keyboard along with the scroll wheel lets you zoom in or out of your documents, photos or web pages. Macintosh drivers can be downloaded from Logitech's website. Once installed, you will find the "Logitech Control Center" under "System Preferences".
This is a great mouse. I highly recommend it.
