$*$ Univ Ext 10HR Laptop Battery

i bought this on clearance for about $80 dlv. and i actually rec'd the PowerStation 100, which is the 100 watt-hour model...for the price i paid even the PS-100 was a great deal though, as a 100 w-h universal external laptop battery would run you about $130-$140 on E-bay now, and for the PS-200, a similar battery on E-bay would run close to $200...

the price i paid was heavily discounted though so unless you need the form factor, the PS-200 is only worth $200 max...

as far as the product, it works great - the PS-100 draws 33 watts while charging and takes about 3 hours to recharge...it has 5 leds that correspond to its level of charge..and it has about 6 or 7 adapter plugs to fit the various notebooks out there...even though my Samsung netbook wasn't listed, it had an adapter that worked for it..its rated as 16 volt output but it charged my Samsung netbook fine even though my netbook adapter is rated at 19 volts...feels like a well-built product, very-solid...and though the model i rec'd was 100 watt-hour, i think it transferred over about 60-70 watt-hours to my laptop battery, which is about the avg percentage in my experience when using these external batteries...

i ended up buying 2 more at the heavily discounted price and then taped all 3 together with clear shipping tape and with rubber spacers between each so there would be room for the adapters and its still fairly mobile, fits easily in my backpack, and recharges my netbook about 2.5 to 3 times...

all in all a good product if you can get it at the right price...
