I'm looking down at my desk which sits this IHome mouse...and it's even red like the one that's on this page. In fact,I bought 2 that day with the other one being the blue model. Well, it don't matter what color you get because it's just going to sit there and just look pretty. Each has their problems and I don't even know if color has anything to do with it. This red model just simply quit working. Yep....dead in the water. They run on 2 "AA" batteries and I ran several new batteries just in case but it shorted out within one day. It worked on both my XP and Vista computers and then it went "belly-up". Forget the instructions because they don't tell you anything except to check the batteries and that they are pointed in the right direction. Well DUH.....Hey I-Home......it's me....you know the guy who wrote a letter to your technical wizards who REFUSED to HELP ME rather than me sending this mouse back. Then I emailed I-Home's customer service and stayed polite, mind you, but they didn't email me back. WHY DID I BUY 2? Well, I thought I'd keep one and give the other to my wife as a "gift" but the thing won't work on her laptop which has system 7. The other mouse's scroll wheel won't let me program it to scroll the web pages. Instead, it's locked in one of their ingenious programs that makes the scroll wheel a VOLUME CONTROL? A VOLUME CONTROL? ARE YOU PEOPLE KIDDING ME....WHO WANTS A VOLUME CONTROL ON A MOUSE?????????? If you look up the blue mouse on Amazon you'll see my review similar to this one. It don't matter what color it is....and don't expect them to email you back if you happen to plug yours in and it doesn't friggin work. Gee, I'm sorry.....do I sound a bit irritated? That's not the best part....hey...come here...a little bit closer.....YOU DON'T GET 8 PROGRAMABLE BUTTONS EITHER....YOU GET 2 (TWO OR FOR YOU SPANISH SPEAKING PEOPLE DOS SOLAMENTE". Like I said in my other review....if your gonna buy this $69 dollar mouse for $23 (69 is a good number for this mouse)..do yourself a favor and buy a revolver along with it because your gonna wanna shoot yourself after you find out I was right. Ok....I'm done....I'm stepping down off my milk crate....Well, at least it will look cool on your desktop.
