I have owned this remote for several years. It has always performed flawlessly. The buttons have a great tactile feel. Unlike many remotes they are spaced well apart to prevent accidentally going in the wrong direction. The built-in laser pointer is also a great feature.
On one occassion, a guest speaker did not have his remote and I was asked if he could use mine. Since the stage was 50' to 60' from the computer I was apprehensive, but it performed as though they were only a few feet apart. Another really great feature is the omni-directional signal which means you don't have to point the device directly at the computer.
If you're looking for a remote with all the essential features, not ones you will NEVER use, plus great reliability, this is it. It also stores in a card slot on your laptop which makes it even more convenient. I don't know who designed this remote, but whoever it was he/she got everything right.
