We ordered the wired mouse because the computer it was for does not have wireless capabilities (yet). We sent it as a gift to the young sons of friends of ours in Germany who are totally crazy for the Viper sportscar - and pretty much most every other American car. The kids love the mouse and their friends are envious. (But, yes, it would be way cooler as a wireless mouse!)
